Foot & Flush Mounted Cylinders

Foot & Flush Mounted Cylinders

1.5" to 12" Bore Series

AIR AND MEDIUM-DUTY HYDRAULIC

Foot & flush mounted cylinders are mounted to the bottom, side or end of the head or cap. Foot & flush mounts must operate at lower pressure on large bore or long stroke cylinders. Thrust keys can help improve the strength of the mount. Consult our experts for more detail.

Foot & Flush Mounted Cylinders

NFPA STYLE MS1

Side End Angle Mount. A fixed mount with force transferred in a straight line. Force is not absorbed along the cylinder centreline. As with most side mount cylinders, MS1 mounts create a rotating moment, requiring a minimum stroke length equal to their bore size. The MS1 is the weakest side mount, and should be limited to less than 500 PSI.

NFPA STYLE MS2

Side Lug Mount. A fixed mount with force transferred in a straight line. Force is not absorbed along the cylinder centreline. As with most side mount cylinders, MS2 mounts create a rotating moment, requiring a minimum stroke length equal to their bore size.

Foot & Flush Mounted Cylinders

NFPA STYLE MS4

Side Tapped Flush Mount. A fixed mount with force transferred in a straight line. Force is not absorbed along the cylinder centreline. As with most side mount cylinders, MS4 mounts create a rotating moment, requiring a minimum stroke length equal to their bore size.
