AIR AND MEDIUM-DUTY HYDRAULIC

Tie rod mounted cylinders are mounted from the same stress-proof steel tie rods used to compress the head and cap to the barrel. Tie rods can extend from the head, the cap or both. The MDX is a double rod cylinder containing two rods with a single piston.

Tie Rods Extended Both Ends Mount. Force is transferred in a straight line, and force is absorbed along the cylinder centreline. MX1 mounts can be used at full pressure in compression or tension applications.
